The purpose of Purdue Engineering Student Council, as stated in Article II of the Constitution is:
- Promote communication and cooperation among students in the College of Engineering
- Serve Purdue Engineering Students at the campus, regional, and national levels
- Provide youth with the opportunity to explore engineering
- Promote professional growth among engineers
And on top of all that, we like to have fun!
The Purdue Engineering Student Council was founded in 1975 and reorganized under its present constitution in 1980. With it’s mission statement of “serving students, serving faculty, serving industry”, PESC has built upon its early foundations to become one of the most active organizations on campus. Its membership includes the most motivated and enthusiastic leaders at Purdue.
