Middle School MINDS

Middle school students looking to learn about engineering and the world. Space is limited to the first 180 students who register. Parents and teachers are invited and encouraged to attend along with the students.

To foster students’ interest in science and engineering by allowing them to investigate everyday phenomena.

Saturday, October 18th, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Registration will begin at 9:30 AM.

The Neil Armstrong Hall of Engineering, Room 1010, Purdue University, West Lafayette

Free — Lunch will be provided for everyone who attends.

What’s Happening:
Many hands-on experiments are planned for the day. The students will have the opportunity to visit various stations dealing with various aspects of engineering. Parents and teachers can tour the Purdue campus, learn more about the experiments the kids are doing, and have the opportunity to talk to current engineering students.

Other Important Information:
Lunch will be provided, so it is essential that you give us a correct count of students and adults who will be attending. If any students or adults require a special diet, we ask that you let us know ahead of time so that accommodations can be made.
Once we have received the registration form, we will send a confirmation packet to each student that includes directions to the Purdue campus, parking instructions, and a finalized agenda.

If you have any additional questions, please contact pesceo@ecn.purdue.edu. We are looking forward to seeing you!
