The Purdue Engineering Student Council (PESC) would like to invite you to sign up for a workshop given by two dynamic Purdue alumni, entitled “The Fast Track: Accelerate Your Professional Career”. The workshop will be on March 3, from 10am to 2:30pm, in Armstrong B061 and snacks will be provided. There is very limited space for the workshop and we will be taking sign-ups through our website. We will also have a waitlist for those of you that sign-up after the space cut off is reached; and those that do sign-up before the cut-off will be required to give us a confirmation of attendance a few days before the seminar.

With a combined 20 years of industry experience, two accomplished Purdue alum have developed a workshop with practical, actionable advice to get your career started off on the right foot. Whether you will be taking on an internship for the first time or starting a full-time job after several successful internships, their strategies for success will allow you to hit the ground running, seize opportunities and exceed expectations.

JEFF ESCHBACH — Jeff has over 15 years of high-tech innovation experience with best-in-class companies such as Intel, Intel Japan, and Motorola Research Labs. He quickly rose into the ranks of management with 6 promotions in 8 years, and has been awarded 7 patents for cutting-edge product concepts. His leadership positions have spanned technical research, product management, supply chain and corporate strategy with assignments across Asia, Latin America and the US.

Jeff is currently enrolled in Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management (MBA) to pursue entrepreneurial ventures. Jeff was a National Science Foundation Fellowship recipient and earned both his BS with distinction and MS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.

KARA ESCHBACH — Kara spent the last three years on Wall Street as a top-rated analyst with Credit Suisse’s secondary private equity fund. Her career already includes roles in investment banking, consulting and corporate finance, with domestic and international assignments. She has worked at both start-ups and brand-name corporations in diverse industries, ranging from financial services to consumer electronics.

Kara earned her BS with highest distinction from Purdue University, where she was the 2007 School of Management Senior of the Year and was selected as the class commencement speaker.
